The Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago serves as the voice of the mechanical contracting industry. MCA Chicago consists of about 400 union mechanical contracting firms through the Piping Education Council, whose members employ nearly 8,000 Local Union 597 pipe fitters in the Chicago area.
