The Construction Education Institute (CEI) is a joint effort of the MCA and the Piping Education Council, which continues to expand its offerings by including several new classes each year. In fact, our class offerings now top 100. Association partners include Plumbing Contractors Association (PCA), Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association of Northern Illinois (PAMCANI), Piping Education Council (PEC), Plumbing Council of Chicago, Builders Association and the Piping Industry Council Rockford Area (PICRA).

Green Construction Institute
To further the cause of green building, the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Chicago has established the Green Construction Institute, dedicated to the advancement of sustainable practices in the construction industry.
The Green Construction Institute offers educational opportunities to keep the association’s member contractors up-to-date with the latest green building technology. The Institute also provides green classes for engineers, city officials, building owners, and United Association Pipefitters Local Union 597 apprentices and journeymen, among others.
