In Part One, users will take a brief tour of the Offi ce
2007 Ribbon. After familiarizing themselves with
the new interface, they will begin building several
basic slides; the Title and Bullet slides will be used
as a basis to examine how to insert graphics and
work with the SmartArt feature of PowerPoint.
In Part Two the stylizing of slides will be examined.
This includes many of the formatting features that
are new to the 2007 version. Slides containing charts,
side by side content slides, and slides using tables
will be reviewed. An overview to animation, slide
shows and printing are included in this webcast.

Several features of the Introduction webcast are
expanded in greater detail. Animations, table designs,
and organizing slide shows are all reviewed in
greater detail. The many different methods of saving
presentations is explained. Users can create PDF
fi les, email presentations and create their own cd
so that viewers can view the presentation without
owning PowerPoint. The concept of using themes,
or preformatted templates, is explained. Global
changes to a format can be done in a Master Slide,
rather than modifying individual slides. Setting up
hyperlinks, which allow users to look at other
fi les or web sites, and return to the PowerPoint
presentation is demonstrated in this session.

In this session many of the presentation tools are
explained. Working with Word to create more
sophisticated handouts, creating photo albums with
embedded music, linking multiple presentations
together with a user driven menu and automated
slide shows are demonstrated. Users will also learn
about creating custom themes, advanced animation
techniques, and examples of web based training
sites are reviewed.
