USGBC Chicago Chapter
The Chicago Chapter of the US Green Building Council is one of the most active chapters
in the country. Like ASHRAE, there are many MCA members involved in this organization.
USGBC Chicago provides great networking opportunities for contractors as well as
some great classes. MCA has negotiated a special discount for membership, below the
normal $65 per member for local chapter membership. Please note that this is a not a
national membership, which is per fi rm, but local chapter membership per member
which gives you discounts on chapter programs. For more information on the USGBC
Chicago and its activities, please visit

Illinois ASHRAE
ASHRAE is an international organization dedicated to advancing the HVACR industry.
Its members are primarily engineers but include vendors and contractors. It is a great group
for engineers in our industry to join. The Illinois Chapter is the largest and oldest chapter
in the world. It has over 1,000 members and MCA has had a long history of cooperation
with it. They have regular technical programs related to our industry. Keep an eye on
MCA publications for co-sponsorship of these programs or visit
