This seminar will provide the steps and procedures needed to successfully manage the closeout of projects to enhance gross profit and company reputation:
- Planning the job closeout: Foreman/PM responsibilities; Typical problems associated with closing out job; Early indicators for issues to be solved; and Contract requirements and scope of subcontractors.
- Managing the project closeout: Quality issues and self punch list; Review of the handout procedure for start-up/commissioning; Tailoring the procedure to your job; Scheduling the start-up with equipment vendors/service department, electrical, ATC, balancing and testing work; As-built drawings, valve tags, O&M manuals, and warranties; Owner instruction; Demobilization; and Workshop on setting up and coordinating closeout.
