What is Heat for Heroes?
Heat for Heroes is a program of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago and the service technicians of Pipefitters Local 597. They donate their time and materials to repair home heating or cooling systems for eligible military personnel.

Members of the military who are:
Deployed
Early Activation Status
Attending School/Training
Not home station annual training
Guardsmen on State Active Duty

The contractor service area covers homes located within the jurisdiction of UA Local 597, which includes the following Chicagoland Illinois and Indiana counties and partial counties:
