CSC: Fall Protection Class

The Construction Safety Council is committed to preventing injury and death due to neglect or improper use of equipment and fall protection systems, improperly secured work areas, lack of proper supervision, and other hazards.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Identify common fall hazards
• State at least three methods to avoid falls
• Properly use and maintain fall protection equipment
• Understand their rights and responsibilities to maintain a work environment with adequate
fall protection


About the Instructor:

Bryan Steiber holds numerous safety and health certificates from safety education centers across the country. A graduate of San Juan College, his Occupational Safety degree program was accelerated by the conferment of a Certified Safety and Health Official certificate from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). Bryan holds almost every certification offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. His knowledge, skills, and abilities have also been recognized by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. His training credentials allow him to deliver a wide variety of classes that encompass many industries. Through decades of construction work on nationwide communication towers, he has honed skills in fall protection, rigging, and occupational exposures. Bryan’s facilitation skills combine subject matter expertise with a delivery that engages students of all ages, experience levels, and learning styles. Using real-world examples and understanding of workplace cultures, he creates a relatable and actionable instruction experience.
