Emotional Intelligence, also known as emotional quotient or EQ, is defined as one’s ability to recognize and understand emotions in oneself and in others. It is the ability to use this awareness to manage emotions to succeed personally and professionally. EQ is a flexible skill that can be learned, developed, and improved.
It is responsible for almost 60% of performance in all types of job skills, including relationship building, decision making, communication, and leadership.

- Learn the definition, background, and components of EQ and how understanding emotional intelligence relates to sales success.
- Understand how soft skills combined with hard selling skills equal a stronger sales process.
