MGT 125 – Career Mapping

January 25, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm CST

–Instructor: Debra Zabloudil–

Similar to a business plan, career mapping includes a mission statement, goals and objectives, SWOT analysis, financial strategies and action plans. By identifying the attributes of successful managers and leaders from around the country, you can begin to apply their qualities and tools to develop a personal career map. Participants will be able to chart their path of growth and development within their current organization and into the future. This course is great for everyone, especially emerging leaders!

Key Takeaways:
• Develop a comprehensive personal career map
• Identify personal strengths, weaknesses and other attributes that may help and/or hinder progress in career advancement opportunities
• Explore establishing a professional identity without becoming pigeon-holed
• Investigate how your organization’s core staff values equate to organizational success
• Discover the impact “emotional intelligence” can have on a career

Cost: FREE for MCA members. * Please note that your association may charge for this event. If so, you will be billed accordingly.
