Hiring — Looking — Scholarships

If sitting in a cubicle or an office all day is simply not you, consider a career in construction.
If you enjoy working with your hands and mind, consider a career in construction.
If you like working in a team environment, consider a career in construction.
If you are interested in working in an industry that allows you to earn while you learn, consider a career in construction.
If working in a profession with above average earnings and benefits that supports millions of Americans sounds intriguing, consider a career in construction.

It’s not a “construction job,” it’s a construction career.

About Us

MCA of Chicago is proud to invest in the future of our industry through involvement and collaboration with Chicagoland elementary, middle, high school and college students, including our MCAA Student Chapters at Illinois State University, Bradley University, Purdue University and Milwaukee School of Engineering. MCA of Chicago’s Career Development Committee is dedicated to building contractor and student relationships, introducing students to mechanical contracting in hands-on ways early on in their academic careers, and increasing opportunities for students to find a career in our industry.

Each year, the MCA of Chicago and several of our member contractors sponsor scholarship programs for students enrolled in Industrial Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, and other disciplines related to the Mechanical Construction and Service industry. This year, there are a total of 11 scholarships being awarded for a combined total of $28,000, our highest amount ever to be awarded!
